By now, many of us are aware of the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on SDG achievement; some goals were progressed substantially due to a change in global emissions, while others regressed entirely. This piece presents a case study analysis of France and Spain, which provides perspective, comparison, and hopefully motivation. Useful methods are presented to help civil society organisations advance policy coherence for the SDGs
