Johnny has been The Wheel’s Membership and Regional Coordinator since April 2016, and has more than 20 years’ experience working in the development, youth work and environmental sectors. He drives the development, presence and participation in The Wheel’s programmes locally around Ireland, supports members to engage effectively with The Wheel, and supports rural communities through the National Rural Network. He represents The Wheel’s members’, and the wider sector’s, shared interests in the Community and Voluntary Pillar. He is a trustee of the Irish Development Education Association and served as chairperson of Comhlámh from 2013-2016. He holds a Law Society certificate in Charity Law, Trusteeship and Governance.
